ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (mAXville)
30 hours / week
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting customers and responding to questions and enquiries, whether in person or on the telephone. The role also requires clerical support to the Maxville office staff.

Administrative & Customer Service
· Receive customers, visitors and callers to the office.
· Deal with orders and enquiries from customers.
· Order stationary supplies and other items for the office and staff.
· Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
· Schedule meetings and conference rooms, as required.
· Assist in the weigh-in of trucks and customer loads at the scale.
· Other administrative duties including filing, photocopying, printing etc., and related duties as assigned.
Accounting
· Post feed invoices to customer accounts in the ProSoft accounting system.
· Accurately handle and balance petty cash monthly.
· Accounts Payable data entry.
· Enter delivery tickets into the Agvance accounting system.
· Assist in the preparation and mailing of customer monthly statements.
· Other activities as required.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required to be successful:
Education
- High school diploma.
- College diploma in business or accounting considered an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience would be considered an asset.
Other
- Exceptional communication and administrative skills
- Must be fluently bilingual English-French
- Ability to work with Microsoft office software
- Organised approach and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
